A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Facilitate/direct group analysis and design activities
  • Understand the business strategies and outcomes that must be achieved
  • Diagram target business essential behavior in terms of dependency flows between essential activities and data
  • Diagram target conceptual data models
  • Translate essential behavior diagram elements to enterprise capabilities and value streams
  • Research Industry and enterprise-relevant best practices and standards
  • Use patterns, and standards to diagram logical target solutions (based on types rather than specific technologies)
  • Perform capability implementation maturity analysis to formulate IT strategies
  • Perform Buy/Build/Reuse technology options analysis to select technologies for target solutions
  • Create technology road maps to recommend how IT strategies are to be implemented
  • Propose/present complete solution suites using client's  standard artifacts to address and achieve the business outcome
  • Monitor the implementation projects to ensure that they deliver the defined architecture

MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)

  • Bachelors degree
  • 7+ years of relevant architecture experience with a bachelors degree or 5+ years of relevant architecture experience with an advanced degree
NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Previous client's  experience
  • Project management skills to understand project plans and aid in communication to others are beneficial.
  • A diverse background spanning multiple industries
  • Experience with the entire IT software development process from architecture to development to deployment
  • Exemplary people and communications skills coupled with the savvy and maturity needed to garner the respect of senior management and clients.
  • The professional is a self-starter who goes above and beyond the expected requirements of the role.
  • Highly adept at building mutually beneficial relationships that result in value, benefit, and growth.
  • Qualities and attributes that aid in the success of this role are:
  • Work well under pressure and be able to prioritize to meet deadlines and quickly shift priorities as necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and demonstrate keen attention to details.
  • Ability to communicate with diplomacy and tact and communicate ideas including responding to resistance and criticism.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Team player attitude is mandatory.
  • Positive attitude and demonstrated optimism are necessary
