- This candidate will be working alongside our internal HR Product Services team supporting Core HCM business process enhancements, break/fix issues, and data maintenance.
- Work may include designing and enhancing Workday business processes to streamline experiences from Hire to Termination, evaluating impacts of Workday delivered features, supporting the maintenance of HR data structure such as supervisory organizations and locations, mass updates of setup data and worker data using EIBs, and more.
- The ideal candidate will be comfortable partnering with Product Owners and cross functional teams as well as customers for demos and proof of concepts.
- Position requires 3 or more years of experience in Workday Core HCM configuration, including a deep knowledge of manager and employee experiences in the system such as hires, job changes, work and home address changes, leaves and absence management, supervisory organization setup, position creation and management, termination and offboarding processes, security, auditing and controls.
- We work in an agile environment with the JIRA tool, and stories assigned to this candidate will support the HR business line in enterprise initiatives, which will involve gathering requirements, proposing design, completing configuration, writing and executing test scenarios, and consulting on change management and communication.
- Installs and maintains cloud-based applications, systems, and associated infrastructures.
- Translates business requirements into code and documentation while managing the life-cycle and communication for assigned projects.
- Analyzes and defines business requirements to determine specifications and standards.
- Oversees the proper implementation and integration of web and cloud-based applications.
- Stays informed of emerging cloud technologies and evaluates the value to the organizations operations.
- Monitors system performance, troubleshooting and resolving errors.
- Ability to consult with internal and external resources to develop cloud solutions for a range of products.
- Ensures quality of the solutions are robust, scalable and efficient to meet the needs of the business.
- Requires experience with one or more cloud platform.
- Experience working with large infrastructure hosting environments including knowledge of Application Hosting, distributed messaging architectures, network technologies (Ex: VPNs, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routing, etc.), security technologies (Ex: public key cryptography and infrastructure, smart cards, authentication, authorization, etc.).
- Demonstration of thorough understanding of how discrete infrastructure components work together to provide reliable and secure hosting environment.
- Vast understanding of cloud services and solutions in platforms such as Azure or AWS
- Comprehensive understanding of IT security best practices and threat protection
- Must have a good understanding of connected embedded systems tradeoffs, protocols, etc.
