Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • A senior software engineer who has extensive knowledge and experience with Software Data engineering in order to continue the work for HouseCalls Clinical Initiatives.
  • This position will be responsible for large and complex components, while influencing overall product architecture and patterns.
  • Develops and demonstrates holistic understanding of the product. Learn new technology fast and implement required POCs and prototypes hands on to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related, technical field (10+ years of comparable work experience)
  • 8+ years of experience utilizing SQL and / or relational database tools (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar databases)
  • 8+ years of systems design and applications development experience
  • 8+ years of experience with SSIS/Talend/DataStage or any ETL tool and Visual Studio
  • Experience with SDLC such as Waterfall or Agile.
  • Solid technical background in SQL with extensive knowledge in design, development, testing, and maintaining data and ETL applications.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technology, software, and system solutions.
  • Exposure to Big Data, Kafka steams, new technologies
  • Healthcare domain knowledge
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem problem-solving skills

  • Microsoft SQL Server, Talend, Python

Top Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative analytic solutions, create actionable insights and drive better decisions and performance to help the business achieve its business objectives
  • Establish a deep understanding of the business and collaborate with Business SMEs to shape the reporting solutions provided
  • Develop ETL, workflows and automated reporting solutions as needed by the business
  • Support operational analytics, machine learning and process improvement data deep dive, identify and execute on new opportunities for increases in efficiencies and performance
  • Develop visionary and creative analytic solutions to measure business performance; identifies / quantifies drivers, risks and opportunities and defines solutions to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
  • Influences senior leadership to adopt new ideas, projects and / or approaches
  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; Collaborating on solutions to those identified problem areas and following the software development lifecycle
  • Analyzes, develops, and implements computer application enhancements for end users.
  • Performs all tasks in the development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing
  • Supports existing applications including developing fixes as necessary and providing support for complex issues
  • Gathers, understands, and documents user requirements and technical specifications. Follows all software requirements development standards
  • Utilizes available programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
  • Creates and helps maintain technical and end-user documentation for new and existing applications
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned
  • Identify and help mitigate risks to the data and organizational health

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience or Knowledge on 837/EDI Process
  • Experience or knowledge on HL7/FHIR
  • Experience or knowledge on STARS/HEDIS process/measures
  • Experience with Rally / Agile tools
  • Experience with CI / CD and DEVOPS model
  • Exposure to Big Data, Kafka steams, new technologies
  • Ability to establish repeatable processes, best practices and implement version control software, automated testing and deployment
