  • Directories team is made up of 10 engineers Supporting Active Directory, Azure, Radius, and other Authentication technologies.

Position Summary/Job Description:
  • Client is looking for a Design Engineer to build Azure (AADC & AADDS) including B2B, B2C implementation across the enterprise.
  • This role drives complex design, development, and implementation activities aligned with several technologies including, but not limited to Active Directory, Radius, Windows security, Azure, AADCONNECT, GCP and AWS implementations.
  • This role drives IT security and productivity by enabling secure authentication for technical assets and devices within our infrastructure through the creation and management of top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities Associated with This Role Are
  • Design, deployment, maintenance of enterprise Azure and Directories
  • Ensure authentication systems align to the companies Information Security policies, standards, and the industry best practices
  • Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible.
  • Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate authentication environment.
  • Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application, or system problems.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Azure and third-party software utilities for systems within company operational guidelines.
Non-Technical Skills
  • Candidates must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team. The Azure Engineer must manage professional relationships, be able to communicate clearly and concisely in both written and verbal situations and be comfortable providing critical analysis to assist decision makers.
Desired Skills Include
  • Develop documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory, and related systems. Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technical skills.
  • Must understand how to identify and instill industry best practices.
  • Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users.
  • Desired experience working in a fast-paced environment with a career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems, technical expertise including hands on solution development and implementation experience.
  • Team Player with proven communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • The role requires significant interaction with many different teams across a global company.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with a “can do” attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges.
  • Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills
  • Must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, and managers.
  • Able to integrate and apply feedback in a professional manner
  • Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality
  • Perform an On-Call rotation for escalations as needed
Skills Overview:
