Main Purpose of Role
- The primary purpose of this position is to create innovative and passionate design solutions for cardiovascular marketing programs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Graphic/Digital Design. Create creative concepts that are innovative and professional while following current internal campaign and master brand guidelines. Percent of time: 60%
- Collaboration. Work closely with Creative Project Managers, Art directors, and Marketing Communication Specialists to develop and execute design concepts.
- Participate in strategy sessions, project input meetings, and brainstorming teams. Percent of time: 10%
- Negotiation. Communicate about project changes in a positive and professional manner.
- Negotiate alterations with Marketing Communication Specialist and Creative Project Manager while ensuring project objectives are maintained. Percent of time: 5%
- Project Management. Balance multiple projects and clients while ensuring quality, deadlines, and budgets are maintained. Percent of time: 10%
- Quality Control. Ensure accuracy by understanding and applying the Masterbrand guidelines, creative process, and internal proofing. Percent of time: 5%
- Team effort. Participate in new business efforts, upholding procedures. Percent of time: 5%
Qualifications:
- Portfolio displaying strong graphic design work
Education: B.A. degree in graphic design or related
Job Experience:
- 3+ years experience working in an advertising agency or internal creative department
Required Skills:
- Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Negotiation skills
- Presentation skills
- Organizational skills
Nice To Have:
- Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
