Description:

  • This role will be responsible for development, maintenance and execution of test scripts for Contact Center applications.
  • Quality engineer will be responsible for all phases of functional and regression testing.
  • This person should be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with other teams to ensure deadlines are meet and application quality, performance meets standards before production implementation.
  • As a QA engineer, this person will be responsible to improve our testing processes and work with our Dev teams to deliver projects with high quality.

Experience:

  • Automation using Selenium, Rest Assured, Jenkins, SauceLabs. Extensive testing background contact center application.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and technical specifications to design, develop and deliver quality
  • Design, develop and implement end to end testing strategies for advanced Genesys telephony systems.
  • Performs testing with expert understanding of VoIP/SIP based call routing / digital solutions on Genesys platform.
  • Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum meetings, sprint planning meetings, reviews and retrospectives
  • Implement and execute test strategies on all supported platforms to help improve overall quality and improve test code coverage
  • Manage QA life cycle which primarily includes creation of test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, test cases/scripts & defect life-cycle management.
  • Build, execute and maintain test scripts using automation tools
  • Responsible for continuous improvement to build test efficiencies and effectiveness through the use of innovative QA practices and automation tools
  • Work closely with product owners, developers and cross functional teams to understand product requirements
  • Report project status, attend status meetings and provide regular updates to management

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and tools with demonstrated experience in Automation role
  • 5+ years of QA testing, creating test artifacts and reporting defects.
  • 3+ years of strong automation testing experience preferably Selenium and in Cucumber, BDD
  • Familiar with Git, Jenkins CI and ability to dive in and build test pipeline
  • Strong knowledge of Agile testing methodologies and best practices
  • Knowledge and full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) principles.
  • Understanding of the modern web applications including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web services and relevant technologies.
  • Experience with REST Assured API, SOAP UI automation testing
  • Deliver high quality work and adapt to new challenges, as an individual or as part of a team?
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
  • Prior experience in automating voice/digital contact center technologies will be plus
  • Experience with SaaS products, Agile/Scrum, Devops

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Scrum Master, 7 Developers, 3 QA.
