Job Description:

  • The Product Experience Design team seeks a future thinking, human-centered, collaborative XD Practice leader to make a positive impact on our fast-paced, customer-obsessed team. 
  • You will be a Systems Thinking, Experience Design leader with expertise, collaborating, casting, and presenting a compelling vision while leading world-class design experiences that represent the employee and customer user throughout the lifecycle of a project/experience. 
  • You will have expertise with UX research, as well as, facilitating, leading presenting to executives, teams, business analysts, business stakeholders, project managers, UX peers, UX research, engineers, and developers. 
  • You should also be comfortable working autonomously and with remote teams (and on site when safe to do so) and across multiple projects, managing both long term and short time timelines, and can prioritize, self-define tasks, deadlines, and conduct quality assurance to ensure final product meets a11y, and UX standards driving best in class experiences for our customer and employees.
Project Description:
  • XD/UX Lead in the Product Model partnering with Engineering and Product leads to transform how works happens; creating intuitive, efficient tools based on the needs of our users. Remove complexity, make work easier and elevate the customer and employee experience.  
  • Working across teams to create a seamless customer/employee experience is critical.
Position Overview:
Responsibilities/Deliverables that the resource will be responsible for:
  • Systems Thinking expertise; able to grasp, articulate and translate complexity into modern, simple, and intuitive experiences.
  • User Experience/Experience Design practice leader able to elevate the human-user and the value of the Experience Design practice.
  • Has experience leading UX research and competitive analysis to bring to life a leading, modern product
  • Can lead Design Sprints and facilitate creating collaborative story maps and journey maps
  • Responsible for creating and leading best in class intuitive visions, concepts, wireframes, working prototypes and visual designs for new work-order product experience
  • Is a relationship builder; able to establish, grow and nurture trusted, collaborative partnerships with Product, Engineering and Business leaders, IT developers, business analysts, researchers, and other project partners.
  • Ability to present UX work and findings to a variety of audiences, including business product owners, IT resources, and senior leaders in the Client enterprise.

Qualifications 
  • Portfolio of Use Cases is required for submission (online or PDF is acceptable)
  • Portfolio must include visual design, user flows and wireframes 
  • 10+ years’ experience delivering digital solutions to a variety of industries 
  • 5+ years’ experience in leadership role with other designers is preferred
  • Experience working on website, tablet applications and other touch-based interfaces 
  • Strong ability to build relationship, collaborate and assert a point of view positively 
  • Experience with Design Systems
  • Comfortable with ambiguity 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in user experience, human factors, graphic design, marketing, or similar 
  • Expert in creating and owning Design Systems
  • Experience transforming complex process to intuitive human-centered digital solutions.
  • Prototyping skills 
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS (position does not include front-end development)
