PM Responsibilities:
  • Manage overall execution of the project and deliver the project on time within budget and scope
  • Create detailed budget, forecast and actuals worksheets with monthly reconciliation activities and variance explanations
  • Manage project financials in Oracle Unifier, SharePoint, SAP and other applications
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Manage project resource availability and allocation
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Coordinate internal, external and vendor resources with tasks and activities for execution throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop project high-level scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop detailed project plans to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Perform issue/risk management to minimize project impacts to scope, schedule and costs
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage the basics – status reporting, meeting minutes, action items, open issues/risks with mitigation plans and key decisions
Skillset Requirements:
  • Post-secondary educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
  • Proven working experience as a project administrator in the information technology sector
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technology implementations
  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in infrastructure and hardware implementations
  • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking
  • Strong financial acumen including managing project budgets, forecasts and actuals
  • Strong facilitation and execution skills, should be able to report up to leadership and work with resources within the project
  • Strong critical-thinking skills with demonstrated ability to problem-solve and be proactive
  • Should be able to work with uncertainty, ambiguity and lack of clarity
  • Should have solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • 3-5 years of experience with Agile concepts and worked on Agile project delivery with SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe or other frameworks
