Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Transition Director, the Transition Program/Project Manager will have full end to end responsibility for facilitating the transition for the assigned Towers.

  • Own the project plan for the transition track
  • Identify and actively manage program risks
  • Work with the Vendor and Tower owners to create risk mitigation plan and refactor the transition project plan
  • Work closely with the transition SMEs from both Medtronic and Vendor to complete knowledge transfer
  • Track program progress against key milestones and deliverables
  • Create, maintain and publish a Transition Dashboard
  • Update the transformation team on the Transition progress to the larger transformation team
  • Execute the kickoff and exit strategy with the other partners of the transition team

Experience Desired:

  • Experience in running a service-oriented organization
  • Experience in leading an organization through change management
  • Should be technically savvy and be able to challenge the technical members to improve the service quality and experience
  • Basic understanding of ITIL practices
  • Understanding of working of an application or infrastructure team
  • Knowledge of Traditional waterfall, Agile and SAFe methodology
  • Ability to handle multiple workstreams at the same time
  • Attention to detail and anticipation of risk items
  • Influencing partners and SMEs is a big plus
  • Experience in previous transition type role is a big plus
