Description:

  • The Sr. Software Engineer will serve as a key technical resource participating and providing oversight of the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Maintains a high level of fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles. Works with key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers leveraging ITIL processes and best practices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop software that meets user story acceptance criteria
  • Attend daily standups to keep others informed of your progress and to collaborate with
    fellow team members
  • Innovate for user experience
  • Thoughtfully apply automation to improve user efficiency
  • Support production users through monitoring and working incident tickets
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to execute system integration
  • Ensure system is securely developed for reusability and resiliency
  • Ensure code and configuration support enterprise scalability
  • Support ServiceNow platform upgrade
  • Participate in peer reviews

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of working as a ServiceNow developer using any following:
  • Transform Map
  • Scripting
  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, Script Include
  • Scoped Application
  • Integrations
  • LDAP
  • Experience working on large scale, multiple team projects
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Test-Driven Development

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification
  • ServiceNow CSM Module

Experience:

  • 3+ years of ServiceNow experience

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Scrum Master, 1-2 QA, 2-4 Developers.
