Description:
- This role will be responsible for development, maintenance and execution of performance test scripts for Contact Center applications.
- Performance Test engineer will be responsible for all phases of performance testing.
- This person should be able to manage multiple testing requirements simultaneously and coordinates with other teams to ensure deadlines are met and application performance meets standards before production implementation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write, maintain and execute performance, load tests using tools such as Jmeter, HP LoadRunner
- Develop automated test scenarios, performance test strategy and documentation for reporting test status and results
- Collaborates with project teams to understand architecture and business requirements to devise the performance test strategy and test plan
- Work closely with product owners and scrum masters to determine acceptance criteria for testing
- Should be able to understand the technical details of the product and assist development team in trouble shooting issues
- Work with other technical team resources to analyze root causes of performance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Communicating with QA Lead, Dev Lead and Technical Managers on the activities about the project work through e-mail, written and verbal
- Provide training and mentorship on performance and load testing to other team members
- Design and develop scalable, flexible, and cross-platform performance test frameworks.
- Be responsible for maintaining test case documentation and ongoing continuous improvement to build testing efficiency and effectiveness through the use of innovative performance test practices and automation tools and close collaboration with development and business
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record with a minimum of 7+ years software/computer engineering experience
- 5+ years of experience with Jmeter/LoadRunner/Performance center
- Experience with performance analysis and profiling of workloads
- Experience with truclient protocol.
- Experience with Splunk, Dynatrace or similar tools.
- Experience using Agile Central
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Engineering.
- Experience with SaaS products, Agile/Scrum, Devops
- Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking abilities.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and MS SQL Serer
- Proficiency in MS Office (Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Previous experience with working across onsite and remote/offshore team members

- Healthcare with Genesys Contact center technology.
Experience:
- Automation using HP Performance Center and Jmeter. Extensive testing background contact center application.
