Projects the candidate will be working on:
- Programs/Initiatives aimed to increase membership on the United Strategic Platform (USP). This includes not just supporting new business/markets but also migrating membership off of legacy platforms onto USP.
Ideal Background:
- Healthcare Experience
- Delivered large IT Projects involving multiple applications
- Stakeholder engagement, Issues/Risk Management, Delivery planning and Prioritization.
- Aware of Agile principles, LeSS Methodology desirable but not mandatory, familiarity with Rally tool.
Team and Team size:
- Candidate will need to work in a Matrix environment consisting of Business Owners/Stakeholders, Technical Leads, Architects, Developers and Testers/Quality Engineers across multiple applications. The number will vary depending on the initiative.
Top Responsibilities:
- The candidate will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements and help to identifying solutions. Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Release Train using various tools, such as CA Agile.
- Facilitate grooming and build backlogs for the teams.
- Responsible for dependency management as well as risk and issue management.
- Maintain a cross-product/application schedule- Prioritize and track the execution of features and capabilities
- Will be responsible for communicating and collaborating with all levels of the organization, across Business and IT teams. Facilitate System/Solution Demos
- Track program financials and ensure budgets are being adhered to
- Able to generate detailed project status reporting (including critical path impact, dependencies, milestones, resources, cost, work breakdown structures, etc.)
- Solid negotiation skills
Skills/attributes Required
- The primary skill set needed are scaled agile project management. LeSS methodology knowledge is a plus but not required.
- Planning and cross application schedule
- Manage risks and dependencies and escalate and mitigate as needed
