- This team will support an expansion the Plan Library, which was created to bring together multiple in-flight capabilities under one umbrella, providing a single platform that can support our product and benefit ideation, validation, visualization, storage, transformation, streaming, and tracking needs for our diverse books of business.
Team and Team size:
- 8
- 1 - Delivery Lead, 1 - Scrum Master, 1 Quality Engineer and 5 Software Engineers.
Top Responsibilities:
- As a Software Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java web applications and services. Design, develop, and maintain databases. Gather requirements and write user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as stand up and sprint planning meetings. Additionally, youll partner with other technologists to deliver features and capabilities.
- This role will help design, develop, and maintain the United Strategic Platform (formerly known as Polaris). In particular, the medical, pharmacy and specialty benefit plan management capabilities that aim to provide consistent and accurate plan data throughout the plan conception, filing, configuration and implementation cycles.
Skills/attributes Required
- 2 to 4 Years of Java Development or Testing Experience
- 2 to 4 Years of Microservice/RESTful API Experience
- 2 to 4 Years of SQL Database Experience
- 2 to 3 Years of JavaScript (ES6), HTML, and CSS Experience
- 2 to 3 Years of Agile Experience
Skills/attributes Preferred
- 1 Year of Health Insurance Experience
- Proficient with Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite, Postman, Cyberduck, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Swagger UI, Apache Tomcat, Apache PDFBox, Twitter Bootstrap, Broadcom Rally, GitHub Enterprise, Jenkins, ServiceNow, VMware vRealize, Amazon S3 Storage, and Microsoft Office 365.
