Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • These are roles that will manage key parts of the Microsoft’s M365 platform and focus on SharePoint
  • The roles are really “Product Management” roles.

Ideal Background:

  • Product Management / Product Owner Experience
  • Expertise / Experience Managing Microsoft Products – M365 / O365 Platform overall, SharePoint, Power Apps, Enterprise Apps (Word, Visio, Project…), OneDrive and Licensing 
  • Experience Engaging Customers to gather requirements, get feedback, etc


  • Level of expertise with Microsoft products.

Day to Day:

  • Engage with Customers (Employees / End Users across UHG) to gather feedback and to understand their needs for the part of the M365 they own, manage customer request / intake.
  • Work with Microsoft to influence and drive priorities on their roadmap to meet UHG needs.
  • Work with our OCM team to create communications, documentation and training for the part of the M365 platform they own.
  • Work with the M365 to prioritize items on the roadmap where there is work the platform team needs to deliver.

Top Requirements:

  • 3 Years Product Management / Product Owner Experience – Creating and managing a product strategy, roadmap, budget and priroitization

Team and Team size:

  •  The Capability & Customer Management team consists of Capability Management Team and Organizational Change Management team.


  • Demonstrated experience defining business and system requirements for software related products and services.
  • Experienced at leading analysts in the process of understanding and documenting the users need.
  • Identifying needed capabilities to resolve the products need. Working with technical and operational resources to create a Roadmap for what capabilities should be delivered and when they should be delivered.
  • Lead analysts through the process of creating requirements for a development team to implement within an agile environment.
  • Manage and groom a backlog of requirements for a product.
  • Evaluate requirements and test results as the projects mature through the SDLC.
  • Assess the products effectiveness post implementation.

Desired Skills:

  • Experienced creating Roadmaps and Requirements in Aha! and / or Rally.
  • Strong experience using Aha! for road mapping and requirements is a big plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare payer (health insurance) industry.

Interview Process:

  •  How many rounds? 2 - Initial screening with direct manager and then panel interview with 3 interviewers
  • Video vs. phone? Video
  • How technical will the interviews be? Technical aptitude, but do not need / should not be developers, engineers, architects.
