- Applies Software Engineering Patterns to Solve Problems
- J2EE and Javascript proficiency with Web Services (Rest and Soap) and Single Page Application Technologies
- Specification and management of coding, usability and quality standards.
- Interpreting requirements into application designs.
- Agile development through collaborating with QA and Business Analysis team members.
- Evaluating and learning new technologies that would provide business value.
- Ensuring the quality, architecture and accuracy of released code
- Take ownership of the assigned applications.
- Be an individual contributor (very hands on) as well as able to guide and mentor team members
- Java, JSF, Java Script, Hibernate, Oracle, SQL, Eclipse
Projects the candidate will be working on:
- ECS Clinical is involved in developing enhanced features for our primary clinical application (ICUE) and related applications.
- The new features help our clinicians make prior-authorizations decisions and also meet the compliance requirements of UHC.
Ideal Background:
- The ideal candidate will be a Java Full-stack Engineer with 5-10 years of Software development experience.
- The skills required are - Java 7 or above, Groovy, Spring boot, Kafka, Camunda, Oracle (or similar database) and Websphere/JBoss experience.
- Software development experience with a Health insurance company in the areas of Claims, Providers or Prior-authorizations is highly desired.
Experience:
- Good analytical and communication skills.
Top Requirements:
- Java 7 or above - 5-10 years of proven development experience in an enterprise multi-tier platform.
- SQL experience of 5+ years.
- Deployment/configuration experience in Websphere/JBoss or similar application servers.
Team and Team size:
- The team would consist of 1 – Scrum Master, 1-3 Product owner(s), 1 – System Analyst, 1- Development Lead, 2-3 - Software Developers and 1- Quality Engineer.
