Job Description:

• Company is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to work within Company Digital Products and Services group.
• As a Solutions Architect, you will provide critical thought leadership and direction to push the limits of technology design and innovation across Company global businesses.
• This role will design and implement cutting edge technology solutions, mentor engineers and will act as an evangelist in technology architectures and ways of working.
• With a focus on providing senior technical leadership, this role will be a key influencer of Company next generation of IoT, Microservices, API, Data and Cloud Computing technology products and services.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with other Engineers and Architects to influence and establish engineering best practices through solid design decisions, processes and tools. Set goals, strategies, and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple technologies.
• Work across product teams to architect, build and design next-generation technology platforms.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of software engineering, cloud technologies and data engineering, to define target architectures, patterns and processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring of engineering teams, working closely with architects and business leaders.
• Develop multi-year product roadmaps, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate this into a tactical engineering blueprint.
• Lead tool and technology selection. Drive standardization and reuse of industry leading technology across the organization.
• Drive continuous process and technology improvements.

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree preferred
• +10 years of Software Engineering experience. Experience in building/implementing high performance & scalable server-side applications.
• Strong communication Skills
• You have high standards for quality and attention to detail
• Self-starter and enthusiastic personality who can work well both independently and as a team member
• Technical leadership skills in driving architecture, helping with technical trade-offs, and driving best practices
• Advanced-level knowledge of 2 or more of the following technologies: mobile/web frameworks, multi cloud, security and privacy, IoT, event streaming, distributed system design, microservices, containerization, APIs, SOA, and/or messaging
