Job Description:

  • (Structural Heart) Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.
  • We aim to lead the markets we serve by requiring the solutions we offer customers provide an improved benefit/risk profile as compared to existing standards of care a performance threshold that, guides and ensures the productive output of our engineering, business development, and clinical research efforts result in outcomes that advance the standard of care.
  • The Global Lean Leader utilizes sound analysis to provide strategic business intelligence to drive the business’ global margin and other high impact business improvements.
  • This position will establish, coordinate, and provide program management leadership for a highly complex, high impact productivity, supply chain, commercial and quality initiatives within Structural Heart.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, scope, assess and drive high value strategic programs to drive margin improvement
  • Identify opportunities, define end point, and provide financial justification of projects
  • Effectively coordinate with cross functional champions and improvement project teams
  • Lead teams to execute projects with sound problem solving methodology, remove and elevate project barriers, and tracking program status and results
  • Identify integration points across the project value stream and coordinate improvements with key stakeholders and process owners to maximize project/program value and delivery.
  • Drive development and maintenance of methods and enabling systems that ensure the results are sustained over time amidst changing priorities, responsibilities, and organizational ambiguities
  • Provide strategic stakeholder management, change management, project team resource management and overall project/program management

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree Preferably in Business, Engineering, Technical or Finance
  • Masters degree Preferred
  • Minimum 10 years Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt Certification, or equivalent is desired. PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven lean assessment, program management and delivery of high impact improvement projects or programs.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for division products is a plus.
  • Candidate should be a certified Lean Master or should possess an accredited LSS Black Belt certification with the potential to obtain Lean Master status within 6-18 months.
  • Should have thorough knowledge of best in industry operations processes.
  • Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus and benefits.
