JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The Program Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering the activities necessary to implement Structural Heart’s EUMDR program focused on either,
  • Technical readiness and implementation for program filing and approval activities, or
  • Market continuity planning and execution activities for product distribution worldwide
  • Top candidates will have demonstrated skills in utilizing program management methodologies, excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, communicate, and drive detailed schedules and timelines for program deliverables across multiple organizational functions
  • Ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support
  • Develop models that incorporate the specific supply chain and materials flow details to project availability in support of demand goals.
  • Work with leadership on strategy options, and integrate decisions into the program plans and deliverables
  • Provide technical advice about the suitability of materials
  • Review product plans and makes recommendations for material selection, based on design objectives, such as strength, weight, heat resistance, electrical conductivity, and cost.
  • Develop models that incorporate the specific supply chain and materials flow details to project availability in support of demand goals
  • Identify E&O and other material risk, recommend a critical course of actions to mitigate liabilities
  • Analyze and interpret large data sets used in planning and implementation
  • Monitor for program risks and issues, and drive for resolution
  • Ensure cross functional alignment on objectives and tasks
  • Plan and implement laboratory & manufacturing operations to develop the material, medical device, and fabrication procedures that meet cost, product specification, and performance standards.
  • Provide regular and consistent communicate to leaders and team members
  • Provide technical direction in the processing of materials and analyze material failures and engineering investigation

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Materials Engineering or other  Engineering, Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics, or Operations Management
  • 5+ years of successfully leading large-scale, multi-functional programs
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication at all organizational levels
  • Self-directed, accountable, and resourceful leader
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Experience working with ERP (SAP) and/or PLM systems (Windchill) preferred
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office programs
  • Program Management certification preferred
