Job Description to use:
  • Assist Operational Product Manager on various technology projects.
  • Create requirement documents as needed.
  • Learn operational software to be able to assist with project work for new builds, software upgrades, etc.
  • Attend meetings to learn about systems, projects, etc.
  • Write and execute Operational test cases to validate functionality.
  • Work with Operational SMEs for knowledge transfer as needed.
  • Fill-in with any needed work as assigned.
Requirements

  • Excellent organizational/follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities
  • Aptitude, interest & willingness to gain knowledge in our technical products for Operations.
Roles/Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary reviewer of all incoming fund and field correspondence to determine action required.
  • Work with fund managers to fulfill offering document requests based on client eligibility, tax status, etc. making it necessary to:
    • Track offering document requirements by fund
    • Understand fund eligibility nuances, including whether the bank/fund prohibits certain investor types
    • Work with funds/funds' counsel to ensure our "offering kits" remain current
  • Review subscription documents for completion
  • Assist with monthly/quarterly reconciliation process for platform hedge and private equity funds
  • Own maintenance of all internal forms
  • Assist in managing the internal alternative product site
  • Send mass communications to field for recurring and one-time projects (e.g., FINRA 5IIII0/IIII certifications, LPA amendments, etc.) and be able to respond to basic inquiries related to these
  • Ensure execution/collection of all fund agreement/side letters, CIP reliance letters, including handling annual CIP certification process
  • Assist in collecting/tracking platform documentation including capital call notices, distributions, K-Is, etc.
  • Complete special projects, as assigned
Requirements

  • Aptitude, interest & willingness to gain knowledge regarding these technical products
Preferred
  • Broker/dealer product or operations experience
  • Reconciliation/risk management skills
Education:
  • Preferably college degree but if they have the experience, that works as well.
