Primary Responsibilities:

  • Be an active participant on an agile development team building a web application that is transforming how we approach testing our plans and benefits of major customers before they are released to the mass-populous.
  • Develop dynamic and visually appealing UI components to be incorporated into the grander Test Orchestration Tool.
  • Collaborate directly with program leadership on potential features and functionalities to be incorporated into the Test Orchestration Tool.
  • Leverage opportunities to learn, research, and introduce new modern frameworks and libraries.
  • Engage external organizations on how the Test Orchestration Tool can assist with their testing.
  • Participate in ideation of modern technology use cases to help our 1-1 readiness partners better serve our customers.
  • Collaborate with other scrum teams to build cohesive and optimal solutions
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensuring code standards and code quality and security are met.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development
  • 1+ years of experience in Java
  • 1+ years of experience with Relational Databases
  • 2+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Object oriented design

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with ReactJS, NodeJS/Express, MySQL Server.
  • Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Exposure to UI/UX Design concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microservices concepts.
  • Familiarity with Web Portal Testing Frameworks (Jest, Cypress)

Team and Team size:

  • Skills needed are listed in the JD mentioned.
  • The team is kind of in a bit of a transition so can’t exactly answer this.
  • But we are moving to a structure in which we will have teams no larger than 7 – comprised of both engineers and analysts, with 1 scrum master aligned to each team, along with an engineering manager functioning larger as an engineering coach. We are a scaled agile (LeSS) shop.
