Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity, feasibility and technical soundness and decompose them to extract positive and negative test scenarios and strong acceptance criteria
  • Detect, report, and track software defects
  • Execute all levels of testing including but not limited to: System, Integration; Component Level Regression
  • Use methodical and repeatable processes to verify releases meet quality standards before launch
  • Apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile product life cycle to identify defect and design flaws
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve the quality of the deliverables and ensure the business needs are met
  • Profile manual acceptance criteria and test cases and implement automation opportunities
  • Create and maintain reusable components, functions and libraries to reduce maintenance costs, increase efficiency and scalability

Job Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of enterprise software testing experience
  • Experience working in an Agile Development environment
  • Familiarity with development practices like Unit Testing, Test-Driven Development
  • Familiarity with one or more scripting/programming languages and/or tools such as: C++, C, MySQL, Perl, JAVA, Python
  • Familiarity with Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, problemsolving and rootcause analysis skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced in test result evaluation, reporting and metrics
  • Highly selfmotivated, goal orientated, and selfdirected
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and innovate in a small team with a fastpaced environment, balancing both strategic and tactical needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Acceptance Testing and how it applies to Agile Testing
  • Familiarity with Agile Central/Rally Jenkins, JIRA and other continuous integration tools
  • Familiarity with process management applications and technologies such as Pega is a plus
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum, Kanban, or Lean software development practices is a plus

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • EMT Polaris program is an ongoing program to ensure migration of our members from legacy platform(s) to new platform.
  • For the migration, we are leveraging Pega as the orchestrator and migration analysts as users.
  • The application is a high volume streaming application that keep all the migration reconciled and tracks the migration completion.

Ideal Background:

  • We are specifically looking for quality engineering skillset. Experience in Pega testing is preferred.


  • Experience with Pega Deployment Manager, Pega Scenario based testing; Setting up test bed for the program.

Top Requirements:

  • 4 years hands-on software engineering testing experience, minimum
  • 2 years hands-on experience working with Selenium, Jenkins and Cucumber. Independently setup the quality automation for the application.

  • 2 Senior SDET.
