  • The three positions support the following for the Risk & Quality business
  • Allow us to maintain current service and quality standards, and provide skills needed for migration to new analytics and reporting platform
  • Supports ACA and MA lines of business for client contracted services for IOA and Chart Targeting
  • The position will support additional revenue through Chart Review for 2021 PY and beyond for special projects for UHC & Commercial clients due to CMS extensions.

Ideal Background:

  • Candidates should have with strong analytical and reasoning abilities, hands on experience analyzing complex/large volumes of data.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to peers and/or smaller audience.
  • Healthcare background is nice to have but not mandatory.

Team and Team size:

  • Informatics and Chart Review teams support the Risk & Quality analytics and business operations. Each resource will be working with a team of 3 to 5 analysts.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Understand Risk & Quality business, Informatics, Chart Review data and processes in detail
  • Research and analyze refinements to the existing analytics processes
  • Perform complex/ad hoc data analysis to debug/resolve issues
  • Create automated processes to monitor data quality/effectiveness and predict issues early
  • Understand and migrate legacy processes to Big Data/PySpark
  • Produce and distribute monthly analytics and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders and support new complex projects
  • Supports operation leads, monitoring operational & productivity reports and manage system changes

Skills/attributes Required

  • Key technical Skills: Big data, Python, Spark, Hive, SQL programming, data analysis
  • 4+ years of experience working with relational data (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or similar databases)
  • 1+ years of experience working with NoSQL databases (HBase, HIVE or similar)
  • 1+ years of experience working on Python, Spark
  • 2+ years of data analysis experience - High proficiency in SQL and experience handling large volumes of data

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Strong data analysis skills, collaborative mindset
