Position Summary

  • As a Digital Marketing Strategist, you will play a key role in working with the different marketing and business teams within Heart Failure division to turn their business strategies into executable digital strategies.
  • Specifically, you will get to do more than just manage online advertisements. You will be responsible for ensuring paid media projects are successfully planned and executed while contributing to the growth of the company via paid media strategies.
  • You'll partner with digital team members, analytics manager, designers and writers to execute these strategies and optimize digital experiences.
  • In addition, you will use analytics and insights to optimize our digital channels, including web, social media, email, paid search, display, etc. You'll partner with platform and channel managers, analytics managers and writers to execute these strategies and optimize digital experiences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work cross-departmentally to align campaign strategies and goals across the organization.
  • Provide ongoing actionable insights into campaign performance to relevant stakeholders.
  • Define, measure, and evaluate relevant paid media KPIs.
  • Build out media buys for various ad platforms and oversee the day-to-day execution of paid media; work with agencies to execute.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword and website research, ad grouping and audience targeting.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and new technologies.
  • Manages the progress of projects coordinating activities among stakeholders and tracking completion of tasks to full execution of each project.
  • Adheres to Digital Marketing policies including Content Review and Approval, Removal, and Governance policies.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
  • Collaborates with analytics team and business partners to translate business goals into digital KPIs.
  • Creates digital strategies based on overarching business and marketing strategies
  • Works with the digital team to develop and execute specific content and tactics.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of customer journeys and user needs to apply content and UX strategy according to business goals and objectives.


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred in related field of study; including Business, Marketing, Advertising, Business Intelligence, Statistics, Communications or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in Digital Media/Digital Advertising and the day-to-day optimizations and other necessary activities.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of various paid digital media channels, strategies, platforms and optimization
  • Analytic skills, proficient with data and reaching data-driven conclusions.
  • Experience executing analytics projects or working in close collaboration with an analytics team (knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc. preferred).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Experience with marketing automation preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience executing analytics projects or working in close collaboration with an analytics team (knowledge of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Tableau preferred).
  • Strong writing, proofing and editing skills within the digitally focused environment including the ability to create shareable content.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Flawless attention to detail; highly organized.
  • Possess thorough understanding of the digital space as it relates to: principles of digital customer experience/UX design, management of digital assets
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; captivating presenter and great listener.
  • Experience influencing and educating stakeholders on digital best practices and insights.
  • High comfort level leading brainstorms and ideation and filling up whiteboards. Combination of right and left-brain thinking that challenges the status quo.
