Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Commercial cloud (Azure) based data platform that can serve both Care Delivery Organization (CDO) level data warehouse/data mart needs as well as to feed, transform and store clinical and administrative data for the Care Enterprise at a national level.
  • Integration and distribution of data through a single platform, with that platform being a high-performance, highly scalable, elastic and highly secure commercial cloud will enable labor, infrastructure and non-cap tech savings across all participating CDO’s as well as in the Care national level.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business, Technical and Strategic Product to meet project commitments in an agile framework; rapidly delivering high quality value to our customers via technology solutions.
  • Design, develop and implement automated tests and testing frameworks
  • Manage test data and utilize test data management technology.
  • Ensure that all parts of the application eco system are thoroughly and effectively covered with telemetry
  • Perform testing with JSON/XML API transactions
  • Deliver solutions in accordance with enterprise standards and within development and operational guardrails
  • Mentor and direct other SDET in automation principles
  • Debug software and perform reviews of automation and application code
  • Engineer solutions that collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools, example Sonar
  • Develop in-depth system and product knowledge
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, dynamic data collection methodologies, coding standards, components and object repository methods, etc.)
  • Share and communicate ideas both verbally and in writing to staff, business sponsors, managers, and technical resources in clear concise language that is appropriate to the target audience
  • Partner with product owners and developers to identify areas for improved efficiencies
  • Research and implement tools that support delivery
  • Assist with DevOps support
  • Eliminate “churn” and “waste” via automation of menial tasks

Skills/attributes Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 4+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle and Software Engineering processes: design patterns, algorithms, data structures, schemas and queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, agile, and dev-ops, as well as industry patterns for application architecture and integration
  • 2 + years of experience developing test automation or combination of development and test experience using Test Café, Protractor, Karma, JMeter, Sonar or similar tools
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, Test Driven Development and continuous integration processes
  • 1 year Cloud/Container Experience (Azure, AWS, Openshift, Docker, etc.)
  • 2+ years of professional experience using SQL Or Snowflake to perform data validation. Must be able to create, execute and analyze the results of SQL queries requiring multi-table joins
  • Working experience with technologies such as C#/.Net Core and scripting technologies such as Angular, AJAX, JavaScript, Typescript, etc.
  • Proficient with developer tools, such as Visual Studio and git/github for developing on the .Net Core stac
