Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Chanita’s team manages/coordinates and delivers multiple Programs/Initiatives aimed to increase membership on the United Strategic Platform (USP).
  • This includes not just supporting new business/markets but also migrating membership off of legacy platforms onto USP

Ideal Background:

  • This opportunity is for an Agile IT Project Manager.
  • The role will support delivery of consumer engagement products in USP. For 2022, the role involves leading a minimum of two major releases.
  • As an RTE, this person will coordinate delivery across different scrum and IT application teams.

Experience:

  • Having successfully lead and delivered medium to large size initiatives in healthcare across multiple applications in a matrix environment
  • Ability to communicate across multiple levels with both IT and Business partners.
  • Experience in LeSS methodology

Top Requirements:

  • minimum of 1yrs of experience for each of the below
  • a) The primary skill set needed are scaled agile project management. LeSS methodology knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • b) Planning and cross application schedule
  • c) Manage risks and dependencies and escalate and mitigate as needed

Team and Team size:

  •  The team consists of Agile Practitioners skilled in Agile Project management.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will be responsible for driving assigned IT projects and/or programs from inception through delivery across all disciplines in healthcare. In doing so, the candidate will assess and interpret customer needs and requirements and help to identifying solutions.
  • They will be responsible for dependency management as well as risk and issue management. This role is also responsible for communicating and collaborating with all levels of the organization, across Business and IT teams.
Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the Release Train using various tools, such as CA Agile
  • Facilitate PI Planning readiness by facilitating a continual grooming process which drives the development of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs
  • Track the execution of features and capabilities
  • Maintain a cross-product/application schedule
  • Track program financials and ensure budgets are being adhered to
  • Manage risks and dependencies
  • Escalate and track impediments
  • Facilitate periodic synchronization meetings at the Program Level
  • Assist with prioritization decisions by facilitating feature and capability estimation
  • Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile concepts and execution
  • Encourage collaboration between teams and Solution Architects
  • Work with the various stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Facilitate System/Solution Demos
  • Assess the agile maturity level of the Scrum Teams and help them improve
  • The ability to generate detailed project status reporting (including critical path impact, dependencies, milestones, resources, cost, work breakdown structures, etc.)
  • The ability to work in a matrix environment across cross functional teams
  • Solid negotiation skills
