Job Description:

  • The consultant will partner with the PSQIP workstreams to provide change management expertise and drive change across the Enterprise.
  • The role reports directly to HR Leader for the PSQIP effort with day-to-day interaction and work direction from workstream leads. This role will provide change enablement and adoption support to ensure alignment, integration, and coordination across PSQIP workstreams.
  • Projects may vary in size and scope and include mindset/behavior change, process change, and systems adoption.
  • The consultant will also partner with the core team and key stakeholders to assess, design, plan and execute a change management approach to support specific projects identified as top priority.
  • The depth of the scope of services listed below will be dependent on the project timeframe and complexity. Included in the project governance will be support for weekly status updates to review the findings and set expectations on the breadth and depth of each deliverable.

 A Day in the Life:

  • Create and own PSQIP workstream specific change management plans and ensure linkages to the overarching Enterprise change strategy for FY22. This includes PSQIP implementation tracking and timing, stakeholder alignment, communications plan, and training needs.
  • Support workstream leaders and team members embedded at the initiative level if applicable; and ensure the program maintains coordination and credibility with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborates and partners with communication partners to identify, prepare, and execute a communication plan to ensure stakeholders, including workstream teams, are engaged and aware of program components. Ensure integrated communication approach at across interrelated projects.
  • Partners with workstream leader to ensure that they have the information they need to effectively lead transformation related activities to ensure leadership alignment and organizational adoption.
  • Collaborates and maintains alignment across projects and with HR Leader, and PM on program deliverables, outcomes, and key milestones.
  • Promotes the use of best practices and consistent change methodologies; ensures business and function teams leverage existing systems, process, and approaches as appropriate.
  • Lead the execution of change activities with a particular focus on workstream leaders and impacted leaders for the most critical projects. Collaborates with project leads and workstream leaders to develop, manage and execute detailed change plans and refine the change strategy as needed. Identify and implement adaptations to change plan based on feedback and measures.
  • Collaborates with workstream leaders to ensure alignment of stakeholder groups and engagement plans to support adoption.
  • Gathers and consolidates change impacts and integrates mitigation strategies into the associated change plans.
  • Puts in place plans to ensure broader stakeholder groups are aware of and committed to the success of the project.
  • Partner with training partners to define learning objectives and deliver training events and collateral per plan.
  • Develop and manage mindset and behavioral change measurement mechanisms as needed.


  • Supplier shall deliver the Deliverables, that will be owned by client , including without limitation, the following: Deliverable Description Note/Target Date Provide High Level Portfolio change management support
  • Create a tactical change plan across critical workstreams at the portfolio level that includes identification of critical stakeholders, engagement plan, plan to address interdependencies and points of intersection to ensure all projects are aligned and the business is ready for change.
  • Assess what level of capability building is needed for project leaders to lead change efforts going forward. Ensure leaders are able to lead change efforts by building capability. ongoing as needed Coach and Support Use of Change Tools & Templates Leverage existing program change tools & templates using client.
  • Change Leadership Framework. Determine which tools and resources are most applicable to the project and ensure project leaders are equipped to leverage tools and providing high level coaching/advising.
  • Build change capabilities among project leaders. ongoing as needed Initiative-
Specific Change Materials for each project Leverage client's  Change Tools and Templates to create (including but not limited to):
  • change plans
  • integrated stakeholder analysis and plans
  • change impact assessments
  • communication plan
  • training plan
  • change measurement strategies In close partnership with core team and initiative change resources will be needed.
  • Create and Execute change plans Outcomes, approach, and tactics to support the desired behavior and/or process changes required for the PSQIP - to include stakeholder alignment activities, communication activities, and training activities. Ongoing support and adjustment as needed Periodic status reviews
  • Regularly share updates to demonstrate on track status and ensure all activities and deliverables initially agreed upon are aligned to program outcomes throughout the tenure of this timeline Ongoing, each quarter

Must Have

  • Bachelors Degree B.A./B.S.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with effectively communicating to drive behavior change through multiple communication channels both traditional and emerging
  • Experience driving Enterprise-wide change
  • Minimum of 7 years of change management experience
  • Proven experience and ability to navigate complex organizations with a proven track record of managing large scale change programs
  • Experience presenting and interacting with senior management
  • Experience with a large-scale business transformation effort

Nice to Have

  • MBA or Masters in change management or related discipline
  • Significant client facing experience in a multi-national corporation
  • Experience in a major consulting firm with multi-national client
  • Certified in change management methodology
