Projects the candidate will be working on:
- Support Critical (Priority 1) Application in capacity of DevOps Engineer
- Maintenance of Application :- PLM/Security vulnerabilities remediation/Service
- Management and Compliance to various regulations.
Ideal Background:
- Experience Supporting Critical applications hosted on Kubernetes platform and on virtual machines as Docker instances.
- DevOps Engineer and Linux System administration background.

- 12 member team. 3 onshore and 9 offshore.

Top Responsibilities:
- Production support of Document Management Systems.
- Partake in on call rotations, troubleshoot and fix document processing, document and metadata ingestion, search and retrieval.
- Provide customer support for application issues by reading splunk logs and troubleshooting application services stack.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhance monitoring/alerting of application.
- Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on team-level progress and quality.
Skills/attributes Required
- 5+ years of experience in supporting services built on Java 8+ using Spring Framework (Boot, Core, MVC), Spring Boot strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working on Linux systems.
- 3+ years experience with Docker, Kubernetes or Openshift Origin.
- Experience with Microservices, CI/CD using Jenkins.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot problems in production and zero in on the likely root causes.
Skills/attributes Preferred
- Working knowledge on Elasticsearch.
- Working knowledge of version control systems (Git/Github).
- Querying RDBMS (MySQL/Postgres/Oracle).
- Ability to script, query databases and elasticsearch to create adhoc reports (javascript/python/shell scripting)
Working Time:
- 8am-5pm
- On Call Shift One week in a month: 2am - 10pm
- Occasional weekend work to support Production deployments
Interview Process:
- 1 round Technical Interview over Microsoft Teams
- 1 round Behavioural interview
