General Job Information:

  • The Behavioral Health Implementation team onboards clients from the Government, Payer, Individual and Family and Employer business by bringing together cross-functional area teams, expertise, capabilities, and standard operating models that ensure consistency in execution and results in delivery that exceeds our customers expectations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of multiple cross functional areas to ensure smooth and effective client implementations of behavioral health solutions in the Government channel.
  • Ensure alignment and understanding of implementation requirements/scope in consultation with applicable stakeholders.
  • Identify project effort, sequence and dependencies of tasks required to meet implementation objectives and timeline.
  • Acquire resources to meet implementation needs, escalating for assistance when gaps exist.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective relationships with applicable internal project stakeholders.
  • Measure and track project performance using appropriate metrics, tools, and techniques.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including, but not limited to, core team meeting agenda/notes, project plan, IRAAD, Communication Plan and RACI.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g., mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance).
  • Prepare and deliver executive level presentations that deliver key messages regarding goals, achievement, risks/mitigation, and leadership asks in a clear crisp format.
  • Utilize change manage/change control process to initiate, record, assess, approve, and resolve project (requirement and business decision) changes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through feedback including project postmortems and creation of lessons learned reports to identify project elements that were both successful and unsuccessful.
  • Ensure seamless transition from project implementation to the business (e.g., operations, account management).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in healthcare, business, or related field
  • 5+ years project management experience managing large, complex projects with proven results (impact vs. efforts)
  • Proven competency in consulting skills, communicating complex information and solution development with ability to negotiate most situations with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cross-functional teams with competing priorities in geographically dispersed locations
  • Ability to analyze root cause issue, bring appropriate resources together to problem solve and provide key recommendations for resolution
  • Solid influencing (without authority), collaboration and listening skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MicroSoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare industry experience, with knowledge of Medicaid an additional plus
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Visio, SharePoint and Smartsheet
  • Possess creative analytical and problem-solving skills
