Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in business or project management
  • Must work MST hours
  • Minimum 2 to 3  year of technical project coordination experience
  • Basic project management methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects related to infrastructure, networking, and telecommunications
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams at different reporting levels
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • The IT Project Coordinator is responsible for working with the hotel technology, infrastructure, and telecommunication teams to create and update scope documents and project plans, facilitate project calls, draft business cases and presentations, process invoices, and track project spend
  • The IT Project Coordinator will assist with budget preparation, project funds approval, and expense tracking
  • Collaborates with team members for requirements gathering, scope preparation, and the issuance of vendor RFPs
  • Successfully tracks updates against the project schedule and deliverables
  • Creates process documents to help the team effectively manage projects and follow an established workflow
  • Assembles operational and capital budgets and participates in planning sessions
  • Participates in project accounting functions including submitting capital requests, tracking expenses, reconciling invoices with the accounting team and vendors, and providing project actual and forecast updates
  • Responsible for executive project status updates and dashboard KPIs
  • Manages project closure and operational handoff of the product for support by the IT Support Services and business teams
  • Works with technology vendors to request proposals and submit equipment orders
  • Works with hotel teams to schedule project upgrades and to gather post installation feedback
  • Maintains project files, schedules meetings, and distributes documents
  • Other tasks as assigned
