  • Role Details
      • As a digital asset specialist, you oversee the creation of assets and deliver them to clients or business partners, ensuring that you meet client specifications and deadlines.
      • Your responsibilities include implementing delivery schedules for media elements and working closely with managers to oversee asset management and the distribution process.
      • You also supervise any members of the team and facilitate digital asset upload and download.
      • Depending on your position, you may create, review, and edit assets, assign appropriate taxonomy and usage rights metadata to assets, and convert items to the client’s desired format.
      • Other duties include various administration tasks, training users on the digital asset management system, and providing regular project updates as needed.
  • Skillsets needed
      • Qualifications needed to work as a digital asset specialist include a bachelor’s degree and a strong knowledge base of content management for Web Applications.
      • Experience with optimizing content for reuse, content modeling, developing metadata structures and schemas, organizing complex taxonomies, and developing organizational structures in CMS and publishing systems (i.e. topology)
      • Knowledge of AEM as a Data Management systems is preferable.
      • Work with stakeholders across disciplines to align on a product taxonomy for the organization.
      • Define and own a content management workflow framework to optimize the content lifecycle with roles and responsibilities, tasks, interactions, dependencies, and governance, including content models, content reuse and metadata
      • You must understand and be able to maintain correct file naming conventions and folder structure protocols.
      • Strong attention to detail is critical for this position, and you should be able to multitask, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
      • You must have excellent communication skills and the ability to create positive working relationships with a team.
