  • Salesforce Data Analyst
  • Join the product management team to drive improved digitization across the client experience. We are seeking candidates with a commitment to innovation as we transform and mature our digital product suite.
  • The Salesforce Data Analyst will be responsible for leading data activities across SFDC, including workflow mapping and delivery of data solutions.
  • In this role, the Data Analyst will work with stakeholders to map all aspects of Salesforce workflows, manage our Salesforce based master data, establish/manage data quality standards, support data modeling, and deliver data solutions to stakeholders.
  • This role requires a deep understanding of data, proficiency with common data analysis tools, and natural data curiosity.
  • Previous experience with Service and Sales Clouds preferred.
  • Collaboration is a critical part of the Elavon culture.
  • The individual will report to the Salesforce Product Director and engage with partners across the organization to drive innovation and growth.
  • Key partners include team members from Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, and BI.
Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with and interview stakeholders to develop workflow maps of all in-use Salesforce business processes for Sales an Service Clouds, including APIs and AE Apps as required
  • Lead efforts in consolidation and cleansing of SFDC master data, ensuring effective data management routines are in place to support high quality solutions as products evolve
  • Become the data subject matter expert and triage data quality issues, along with developing automated solutions to eliminate manual work
  • Design and manage the SFDC visualization, including data sources, security, and metadata
  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, deletion, automation
  • Provide testing support and quality assurance of imported data
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization in Salesforce and data assets
  • Create reports and meaningful, standardized data analysis from multiple systems
  • Training end-users on new reports and dashboards
  • Providing technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 3+ years of experience with SFDC, specifically Sales, Service and Marketing Clouds
  • Payments, Financial Services and/or Digital Products industry experience
  • Work experience as a data analyst, including:
  • proficiency with common data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
  • experience in analytics, validation, reporting, data analysis and aggregation
  • Experience building new processes in an undefined environment
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms
  • Strong leadership, project management and business analyst skills
  • Salesforce Admin certification and/or experience a plus
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
  • This position requires good oral and written communication skills to interface with internal business clients - many having minimal technical knowledge. Ability to translate business requests into technical requirements.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Ability to write transact-SQL code to extract correct data to answer business questions. SQL Development experience.
  • Extensive experience with creating reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
ADDITIONAL BENEFICIAL EXPERIENCE:
  • use and construction of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services; Sharepoint (using the BI Stack).
  • Strong attention to detail for validation of all queries constructed.
  • Ability to visualize data into a form that effectively answers the business question."
