Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Various development for Pay application.

Team and Team size:

  • Typical scrum team is 1 ScrumMaster, 5 developers, 3 QA.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Designing, developing, and unit testing (manual and automated) of new application functionality
  • Interpreting requirements and functional designs into technical application design
  • Work with application stakeholders to develop quality solutions in an agile framework
  • Deliver in a CI/CD manner integrating Jenkins, XLDeploy and GitHub
  • Incorporate development and agile/scrum best practices
  • Communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written forms, and be able to present and demonstrate work to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Participate in code and design reviews
  • Troubleshooting issues and providing maintenance support for the application/application teams

Skills/attributes Required

  •  Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of Java full-stack developer experience in Java and strong hands-on knowledge on Microservices, Springboot, springbatch and ORM frameworks
  • Experience with shell scripting (ksh/bash)
  • Experience with XML/JSON and developing SOAP and REST services
  • 4+ years of relational database experience, preferably DB2 or PostgreSQL

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Experience working in a DevOps environment
  • Experience with IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) is a plus
  • Development experience with portal and batch applications
  • Experience with Junit, Selenium, Azure cloud, Docker and Kubernetes

Working Time:

  • Approximately 7:30am-4:00pm CST

Interview Process:

  • How many rounds? 1 initial interview, followed by typically 1 second interview
  • Video, phone, or in person? Video
  • How technical will the interviews be? We ask technical questions during 1st and 2nd interview.
