Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Assists Portfolio manager for M&R Digital Portfolio with a multitude of duties including:
  • backlog management and initiative tracking across multiple scrum teams.
  • Portfolio level tracking of initiatives and releases, escalating when necessary.
  • Assists with Agile Planning practices
  • Financial tracking of multi-million dollar portfolio.
  • Communication and status reporting to stakeholders across multiple areas of business.
  • Process champion, help others navigate processes. Experience with CA Agile, Aha! or Jira all a major plus.

Ideal Background:

  • Project Management background with experience working with Agile development teams
  • Experience working in a large complex environment, demonstrated ability to use critical thinking to solve complex issues.

Experience:

  • Number of years in Project Management
  • Experience specific to agile development projects
  • Experience in Financial tracking of large programs
  • Jira experience

Team and Team size:

  •  Portfolio team is small 2-3 PM’s who work within a larger PMO network
  • Work closely with portal development teams (5 teams with 8-10 people per team)
  • Large Stakeholder group

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Work with delivery teams to manage and track delivery execution across multiple scrum teams.
  • Communicate status across stakeholder groups.
  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources
  • Work with stakeholders to establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods
  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)
  • This role will challenge your ability to work on complex projects where deadlines and scope shift frequently.
  • You’ll need flexibility, agility and the ability to adapt to change while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in a highly cross-matrixed environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of project management experience using data and information to make business decisions
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP Certification
  • Jira

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 2-3 rounds

  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Non technical
