  • As a System Engineer, you will be a member of a global (worldwide) technical and infrastructure team, which consists of more than 10 people, spread over different regions (US, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM).
  • Your roles and responsibility will be to deploy and support new and existing technologies in the area of servers, storage, and backup solutions within our global and/or regional data rooms.
  • Many new challenges will give you the opportunity to develop your skillsets and to assure the highest satisfaction level of our new technologies and infrastructure.
  • Installation and maintenance of hardware/software, virtualization, storage, backups, and Cisco UCS servers.
  • Propose opportunities for improvement in our global technical infrastructure area to increase the satisfaction level of our customers.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork with your colleagues across the globe is a key component to be successful.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience solving a range of complex problems; with the ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures, vendor expertise, and innovative thinking.
  • Required level experience:
    • Active Directory Administration and Engineering
    • VMware
    • Windows Server OS 2008 - 2019
    • Cisco UCS
    • Storage Technologies
    • Backup Technologies
  • Preferred additional experience:
    • Red Hat Linux
    • Citrix
    • VMware VSAN
    • Monitoring and Deployment tools
    • Microsoft Cloud Administration
    • CommVault backup
    • Knowledge of networking components and practices
    • Working experience in an international environment is a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years relevant working experience or 4 years’ experience
  • Broad IT experience and high-interest level to deploy new technologies
  • Creative and analytical mindset
  • Work independently and take ownership
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Travel to our regional locations (ad hoc basis)
  • On-Call rotation during nights and weekends
