Job Summary: As a Senior Designer, this role is key to ensuring an outstanding overall user experience, including consistency across products and reusability of user concepts. Someone who is passionate about design and user experience, challenges the status quo and champions new ideas. Must be able to convey user concepts visually and verbally to guide product teams. Looking for someone who has exciting, modern, design concepts that lean toward product rather than just marketing. Able to collaborate well with lots of people and have fun. Experienced designer for software products. 

Education/Experience Required:
•    5+ years’ experience UX and UI design and concepting of web and mobile applications
•    Experienced in both visual design and product user experience
•    A portfolio of your work – either accessible online or submitted electronically – that illustrates your approach to design and usability

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
•    Expert in Design (5+ years), concepting of web and mobile applications and user-centered design
•    Creative problem solver who can translate abstract business needs into concrete software interfaces
•    Explains solutions to a wide range of stakeholders
•    Writes and guides user stories
•    Experience leading UX/UI decisions, influencing business and technical teams
•    Incorporates accessibility and internationalization best practices
•    Fluent in modern design toolsets, e.g. Figma, Ant Design, Adobe CC, pen and paper
•    Knowledge of web technologies, understands how content flows and fits together, hands-on experience with HTML/CSS/JS is a plus
•    Avid adopter of new technologies, pays attention to trends
    
Roles & Responsibilities:
•    Designs application user experience - Develops high-level flows to guide user tasks and processes, builds prototypes, produces wireframes to illustrate significant interface and interaction decisions 
•    Understands business needs across existing and potential products, leads discussions between product owners, visual and development teams to optimize usability, information architecture and technical needs
•    Guides developers to implement designs
•    Maintains, expands, and adapts the cross-product design system
