Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Acting as the Scrum Master for 3 scrum teams. Manage large proects.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Healthcare with at least four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Team and Team size:

  •  10 BAs, 11 Onsite developers and 7 offshore developers

Top Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring project timelines and tracking project budget.
  • Leads the collaboration with business customers to define scope for new projects, documents risks and assumptions, develops the delivery timeline and approach.
  • Serve as a liaison between business clients and IT to create project scope and timelines.
  • Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders and facilitate driving project discovery sessions.
  • Create and maintain project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time and resources, monitoring project timelines and tracking project budget.
  • Tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines; create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes and project summaries.
  • Create and maintain User Stories and Features; drive sprint planning for the scrum team and drive scrum ceremonies.
  • Enable Agile adoption and scrum transformation for Kanban teams.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Healthcare with at least four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 4+ years of experience as a project manager or a Scrum Master.
  • Agile/scrum certification or PMP certification desired.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills required.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems required (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast paced rapidly changing environment.
  • Additional business analysis skills nice to have.

  •  8:30AM-5PM CST
