Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Project Summary:
    • Lead New Business/Renewal implementation in BH Care Management Platform. Implementation involves onboarding new customers, defining the care management workflows, define letter templates, coordinate eligibility, benefit, customer setup.

Team and Team size:

  • 1 Product Owner, 4-6 Dev/QA.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead the work of one or more scrum teams building or enhancing products or capabilities within the behavioral health space
  • Optimize the measurable value delivered by your team(s) by prioritizing work, aligning it with strategic imperatives, and analyzing alternatives
  • Gather and analyze user and client feedback on our products (complaints, NPS results, user panels, etc.)
  • Gather intelligence about competitive products (internal and external)
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (operations, marketing, channel partners, etc.) who provide insights into business strategies, trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Help to create and communicate a product vision that includes assessment of customer needs, competitors, key features, and pricing.
  • Prioritize and contribute to a backlog of enhancements and new features
  • Work with one or more scrum teams to groom and define features and stories, accept stories, manage sprint reviews, perform demos, and publish release notes
  • Gather and publish metrics that assess product usage and health
  • Collaborate with UI/UX experts to build meaningful and practical experiences that delight internal and external users
  • Create and regularly update a 1-2 year product roadmap
  • Identify new product and feature opportunities, develop value stories and pitch ideas to stakeholders to gain support and funding

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of product ownership or product management experience
  • 2+ year of experience working in an agile or scaled agile development environment
  • 2+ year of experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others
  • Familiarity with software development concepts and comfortable reading and interpreting technical documentation and working with developers, solution architects and other technical staff
  • Comfortable researching and interpreting complex topics such as regulatory changes, emerging technologies, market dynamics, etc.
  • Strategic thinker
  • Comfortable facing out to internal and external customers and users and all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to medium sized groups

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agile product owner or agile leader certification
  • Experience working in clinical software product development
  • Experience with SaaS software products such as Salesforce or similar.

  • c. How technical will the interviews be? Focus on Agile Product Owner practices, high level technical understanding
