Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • This position will support the organizations objective to maintain the security of the environment by establishing a routine remediation of servers and following EIS recommendation on server configuration items and the maintenance of security agents and tools for the server via SCCM.
  • The position will bridge the gap between Infrastructure Engineers and SLOs.
  • This role will help work with both groups to ensure the servers and workstations are secured and minimize risks by following EIS standards and governance, coordinating the implementation of security recommendations that are not currently covered by Engineers and SLOs since their main function is supporting the customers.

  • I am looking for a candidate with strong software deployments using SCCM specifically focused on vulnerability remediation for Windows Servers 2012, 2019.

Experience:

  • Experience with vulnerability remediation of Windows 2012, 2016 and 2019 servers via SCCM, Active Directory Group Policy maintenance and ServiceNow.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create applications, packages, and software deployments in SCCM
  • Work new initiatives and projects related to vulnerability remediation delegated to the Core Platform Engineering group
  • Tier 2 and 3 troubleshooting support
  • Advanced knowledge of patch management and software distribution
  • Analyzes and investigates
  • Provides explanations and interpretations within area of expertise
