Description:

  • Primary role is Sr level systems analyst with Scrum Master background.

Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Implement a Guest Payment Portal to allow members to make monthly premium payments and set recurring payments.
    This applies to AARP, UHC Medicare Retiree and UHC Part D payments.

Ideal Background:

  • Agile/Scrum/Systems Analysis/Facilitator.

Experience:

  • Excellent communication, system analysis skill set, expertise in usage of agile tools.

Top Requirements:

  • Top 3 are excellent communication skills, experience with agile implementation, and experience working with a variety of systems development lifecycles.
  • Expectation is candidate should be able to address questions raised during the interview.

Team and Team size:

  • The team will be composed of total 9 resources - EM ( Engineering Manager) , SA/SM (Systems Analyst/Scrum Master), 5 Web Developers, 2 SDET QE (Quality Engineer)

Systems Analyst:

  • Evaluate business requirements and prepare the detailed functional and technical specifications that follow project guidelines
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure requirements and design are completely understood
  • Communicate design to all stakeholders and varying levels of the organization
  • Act as the liaison between Business, Systems Analysts, Development Team, and project management groups
  • Present and evaluate design solutions objectively and facilitate conflict resolution
  • Work closely with business teams to strategize solutions that support long term business objectives
  • Ensure IT deliverables align with business requirements with measurable results
  • Collaborate with QA team to ensure testing efforts align with system deliveries and business processes
  • Develop detailed design specifications including service models, source-to-target data mapping, and UI specification documents
  • Develop and use enterprise service and data models

Scrum Master:

  • Act as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies - Daily Scrum, Backlog grooming, Retrospectives and Sprint planning
  • Act as servant leader for team by eliminating obstacles to meet Sprint goals.
  • Identify, Track and improve agile metrics like Velocity, Quality, Cycle time (Time to value, Time to build).
  • Drive outcome-based delivery.
  • Make teams self-organized
  • Create information radiators to provide visibility to team progress and quality.
  • Conduct story planning session to effectively break large features to smaller features (slicing)

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of overall work experience
  • 2+ years of Scrum Master experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with a variety of systems development lifecycles
  • Experienced with leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Proven experience driving a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Agile implementations like Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Scrum Master, CSPO or other Scrum certifications.
  • Background in Tools such as soapUI and other Agile processes
  • Experience working with more than one team
  • Working knowledge of CA Agile (Rally) and Jira
  • Understanding of HTML, Java, UI, CI/CD
  • Healthcare domain expertise

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds: 1, may be 2 if needed.
  • b. Video vs. phone: Video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? SM/SA role is less technical, but the candidate will need to demonstrate/have strong technical acumen.
