The Senior Application Analyst is a subject matter expert over several banking applications/platforms. Will have responsibility to configure custom or package applications in common languages and frameworks.  Has a strong analytical and problem-solving ability to be able to translate business need to a technical solution. 
  • Provides expertise in application software development methodology including the tools and processes needed to develop solutions that meet the businesses internal and external user requirements.
  • Translates business process models to application flows to optimize application services or in custom application development or integration services.  
  • Receives requirements and translates them into architectural and technical specifications requirements to be used for application development/configuration purposes.   
  • Provides input for the adjustment of use cases that align to the functional and technical specifications of software setup/configuration or development
  • Develops and mentors others within their team and may provide mentorship to those outside the general IT team and to the business areas
  • Writes technical and process procedures and documentation for the application and integration for successful hand off to Production Support 
  • Utilizes standard development and implementation standards, procedures to develop and deploy application solutions. 
  • Demonstrates collaboration across all levels of the organization and within BITS through personal engagement.   Builds strong relationships, and trust, while effectively listening and communicating. 

  • A combination of education and experience generally attained through a BA in Business, Management or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an application analyst role.  
  • Banking Experience is highly preferred.
