Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Enterprise software distribution and remediation.

Ideal Background:

  • IT experience with software distribution systems and support thereof; packaging, software and patch deployment, troubleshooting and remediation


  • Experience that would set someone apart would be Software provisioning experience with Symantec/Altiris, 2-3 years

Team and Team size:

  • Software provisioning team responsible for managing, deploying and remediating desktop application distributions. 8 current software provisioning members.
  • 4 Software provisioning operations analysts, 4 Software provisioning remediation analysts.

Top Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and remediate failed desktop installations following large software deployments
  • Perform ad-hoc individual installations for users
  • Assist in testing and monitoring automated remediation system
  • Gather and maintain remediation metrics
  • Troubleshoot and remediate failed Windows 10 OS upgrades

Skills/attributes Required

  • Software provisioning operations - deployment and remediation (Altiris, SCCM): 2-3 years
  • Remote client troubleshooting: 2-3 years
  • Microsoft Office suite: 2-3 years
  • KPI/Metrics tracking and reporting
  • Maintain process documentation
  • Motivated self-starter, ability to work at a high level unsupervised
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Recognize and suggest process improvements and automation opportunities
  • High degree of attention to detail - ensuring highly accurate work to minimize any business interruptions

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Software provisioning experience with Symantec/Altiris           

Working Time:

  • 8am - 5pm

Interview Process:

  • Phone interviews, no video.
    1-2 Rounds
