  • Responsible for Clinical Care Management Projects and acts as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Understands and can discuss the Care Management application and implications of changes to clinical process, policies and procedures
  • Responsible for healthcare software application configuration
  • Assess, interpret, and analyze customer needs and requirements
  • Provide analytical support and expertise needed to translate clinical requirements into technical solutions
  • Solves complex problems and/or conducts complex analysis
  • Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks
  • Responsible for facilitating meetings and presenting documented requirements and complex concepts with business owners
  • Responsible for writing and documenting business requirements in Epics/Features and User Stories
  • Support application testing and configuration with project teams to ensure development meets acceptance criteria
  • Serves as a leader of the on the Business Analysis team, providing support and guidance to junior team members

Performance be measured:

  • This position requires the ability to elicit technical requirements from business users (clinical care management staff) and configure the application from the perspective of a system administrator.
  • In some cases, business requirements must be configured by the external application vendor. In these instances, the business analyst will draft epics and user stories and work with the vendor on application enhancements.

Software tools/skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; ability to learn and quickly maneuver care management applications from an end user and system administrator perspective.
  • Experience with the Guiding Care application is a plus.


  • The ability to elicit and document application requirements from clinical business users.
  • Prior experience with Medicaid populations from a clinical perspective (vs. billing) is highly beneficial.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience as a system administrator for a clinical care management application.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both clinical end users and technical developers.

Working Time:

  • The candidate will work 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day.
  • We offer flexibility between the hours of 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM depending upon where the candidate is located.

Interview Process:

  • Interviews will be virtual. The interviewee should be able to connect to the interview via Microsoft Teams.
  • It is highly recommended that the interviewee plan to connect with a headset vs. relying on a computer microphone.
