Functional Overview

  • The Project Management Operations (PMO) team for company's  is responsible for the focused delivery of effective, integrated, business-driven solutions that supports strategic initiatives and the overall roadmap.

Position Description

  • Responsible for managing and leading program level initiatives with multiple project teams and workstreams, including all business, functional, and technology partners.
  • Oversees highly complex programs, from concept to development, through testing and execution. This position requires an understanding of multiple project management methodologies and fundamentals and the ability to think strategically as well as drive for results.
  • The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, along with the ability to problem-solve, anticipate needs, and influencing key decisions while simultaneously maintaining accuracy and quality of work.


  • Understands the complexities of both Agile and Waterfall work environments, has the ability to influence decisions and drive results, and helps guide assigned teams through successful completion of programs/projects
  • Leads project teams in the development and implementation of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans
  • Establishes and leverages supporting documentation that will guide internal-and-external partners through the life of a project, including articulating business processes and information flows
  • Effectively manages multiple project managers across a variety of key initiatives and workstreams
  • Drives business process analysis/design, stakeholder needs assessments and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align technology solutions with business strategies and direction; provides leadership to assigned project teams to ensure project alignment with the business objectives
  • Reports out to executive leadership and lead meetings with full project teams
  • Accountable for ensuring key decisions and open actions coming as it relates to the overall program are appropriately communicated, vetted and actioned upon
  • Responsible for risk and issue management, including the ability to identify and elevate global and potential project risks/blockers, as well as crafting mitigation plans
  • Drives collaboration of new process creation where appropriate, and upholds program/project governance in partnership with all workstream Project Managers
  • Demonstrates operational excellence by consistently delivering projects on time and on budget
  • Manages the project scope change process including the facilitation of issue/gap identification and resolution with business units, systems areas, channel managers and product managers
  • Coaches team through project closure and retrospective process

Qualifications / Skills

  • Must be highly organized, with meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with particular focus on leadership influence and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytic capabilities, with ability to quickly adapt to new situations as they arise
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism, work well independently and within a team environment
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Thrives in fast-paced, fast-changing, high-pressure environment
  • Self-motivated
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Suite


  • 8+ years of project management experience, including mastery of multiple project management methodologies, fundamentals, marketing technology, and complex system integrations
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related area of study
  • Experience managing program level and omni-channel initiatives required
  • Experience with team management/direct reports preferred
  • Proven record managing highly technical projects preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
