The manager of email and SMS  is responsible for driving acquisition, retention, and loyalty This manager will work cross-functionally with brand marketing, merchandising, analytics, eCommerce, digital marketing, and CRM to develop campaigns that are optimized based on insights and innovation.  

•    Serve as product manager for email and SMS working closely with partners on the product roadmap
•    Develop the overall strategy as it relates to contacts, performance, and best practices. 
•    Partner with CRM and other data platforms to build strategy for deeper customer segmentation and personalization. 
•    Identify insights from customer data and make recommendations to improve overall program
•    Create and manage test and learn roadmap
•    Conduct A/B and segmentation tests
•    Continually drive for efficiencies in process by reviewing operational process with key stakeholders and immediate direct reports. 
•    Work with agency and analytics partners to develop Omni level reporting in order to understand overall business impact and to be able to make recommendations.
•    Monitor overall health of email and SMS file by monitoring unsubscribe/bounce/complaints and ensure that company continues to operate according to industry standards. 
•    Responsible for driving list growth in email and SMS channel. 
•    Manages trigger programs, customer lifecycle, and onboarding campaigns. 
•    Keep up with industry trends (including by not limited to technology, ISP, and legislation) and implement solutions when needed.
•    Acts as a gatekeeper for all production processes ensuring that the final product meets all standards and expectations. 

•    Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a business related field.
•    3+ years’ experience in an agency or retail environment
•    Hands on experience with Email Service Platforms (ESP) or CRM platforms.
•    Previous experience managing direct reports preferred.

•    Strong analytical skills: able to utilize data and analytics to determine actionable recommendations.
•    Ability to collaborate with internal teams, external partners and agencies; exceptional organizational and project management skills. 
•    Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
•    Ability to manage and further develop direct reports. 
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and HTML preferred.
•    Knowledge/experience with email marketing tools. Experience with Responsys a plus. 
•    Ability to learn technical systems and in-house tools quickly.
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment by leveraging strong multi-tasking, time management, and interpersonal skills
•    Innovative spirit and a motivated self-starter with a desire to work in a flexible and fast-paced environment
