Description:
  • Partners closely with the business line, customers (internal and external), and Agile teams to drive the vision, strategy, and evolution of the assigned products.
  • Maintains and refines the product backlog, creating epics/capabilities/features to deliver on business vision and priorities.
  • Acts as primary liaison between the business and Agile teams, ensuring the teams understand the vision for the products.
  • Must have a well-developed understanding of customer needs aligned with business objectives and build close relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Works closely with Agile teams including addressing daily prioritization needs, providing real-time feedback, and answering questions on an ongoing basis. 
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Five to seven years of related experience 
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ability to clearly document epics, capabilities and features including the ability to develop and articulate a product vision that supports outcomes, value, and prioritization of work
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze the needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product
  • Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of product features for Agile teams to pull into their backlogs
  • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
  • Comfortable working in an Agile project management framework
  • Knowledge and experience in credit card issuing/processing industry/applications
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills including ability to collaborate with and empower teams
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies
Required Skills/Experience
  • Card payment experience
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Ability to influence individuals and teams
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Detailed analytical abilities
  • Practical application ability with Microsoft Office and Visio or similar tools
  • Proficient computer navigation skills
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • VersionOne / Jira / Jira Align
  • Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge regarding U.S. Bank’s consumer and small business payments products, systems, and applications
  • Proven experience in Banking or Payments industry
