Job Description: 
  • I’m part of the larger Media Strategy Operations team and I’m building out an Ad Operations function here with a larger team taking on operational tasks. 
Project Description:
  • Need to hire a team to take on operational work from the Account Management team to QA files to specifications. 

Position Summary/Job Description:

  • The Advertising Operations team is responsible for all processes and systems that support the implementation and delivery of ads to enable the success of client campaign goals. This team performs the quality assurance of all creative assets, tags, and tracking codes.
  • Ad Operations is responsible for working through implementation challenges, debugging technical issues, and will troubleshoot critical technical campaign issues throughout the campaign lifecycle.
  • They will manage ad units from pre-production of creative assets to auditing landing pages.
  • Must have excellent project management skillset to manage multiple timelines for asset delivery.

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?

  • 2-3 years’ experience with online advertising campaign implementation and performance, including ad trafficking and media planning
  • Experience in campaign implementation for display (preferred), search, or paid social campaigns 
  • Experience in working with DoubleClick, Sizmek, Criteo or other 3rd party ad servers 
  • Hands-on experience working within Google Marketing Platform (GAM, DV360, GA360).
  • Experience with verification and measurement partners, such as Double Verify, Nielsen and Comscore experience is a plus
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working within Google Ad Manager (GAM) or similar tag management platforms to execute and troubleshoot tagging 

What are some preferred/nice to have skills the manager is looking for?

  • Familiar with various online creative formats (e.g., HTML5, JavaScript, Flash, Rich Media)
  • High attention to detail with a focus on managing various processes of a project with multiple timelines
  • Salesforce Sales cloud experience (preferred)
