Job Overview:
  • As a Senior Apigee developer you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle which includes estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of application developed for our clients.
  • As a member working in a team environment you will work in a fast paced environment and take direction from solution architects and leads on development activities.
Responsibility:
  •  Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using APIGEE Edge
  •  Design and develop new APIM capabilities e.g. ABAC ( Attribute based access control)
  •  Support the APIs development, design, and evangelism through the entire lifecycle in the enterprise
  •  Writing Open API spec and knowledge of smart docs and on boarding APIs to developer portal
  •  Debug EDGE components
  •  Design, build and create its proxies in APIGEE Edge and Micro gateway environment
  •  Onboarding API Clients using Edge developer portal and maintenance of developer portal
  •  Must be able to own and deliver the Apigee integrations as an individual contributor
Qualifications
  •  Good understanding of Apigee policies mediation security and traffic management policies Oauth2.0, Basic Auth, JWT, SSO implementation, XML2JSON , JSON2YAML transformations, logging policies, KVM, Caching.
  •  Hands on knowledge in JavaScript Nodejs is a must. Nice to have – Spring Boot, Java
  •  Must have experience in developing API Proxies using Google Apigee Edge Platform
  •  Must be able to design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee
  •  Writing Open API spec and knowledge of SmartDocs/Swagger-UI and on boarding APIs to developer portal.
  •  Support the APIs through the entire lifecycle.
  •  Experience with the design and development of the REST APIs.
  •  Must have experience with middleware, web services, and related standards such as REST, SOAP, Messaging, Broker, JMS, Kafka
  •  Good understanding of design and development of security architecture/policies with SSL, TLS, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML, Encryption, Public Private Keys, Certificate Configurations, Transport Layer Security, OWASP
  •  Knowledge about converting web services from SOAP to REST or vice-versa using Apigee Edge
  •  Experience in API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications, etc. using APIGEE Platform. • Knowledge of JavaScript for writing APIGEE mashup APIs.
  •  Skills and experience in maintaining & handling Apigee software components like Edge Router, Message Processor, and developer portal.
  •  Knowledge of bitbucket, Node JS • Knowledge on CI/CD tools such as bitbucket, Gitlab CI/CD etc.
  •  Apigee product complete knowledge: Build API Proxies, Publish APIs and Control Access, Analyze, Troubleshoot, Rate limiting and Monetize APIs, etc.
  •  Hands-on development in Apigee Platform with deep implementation exposure to policies like Service Callouts, Extensions, Mediation, Security implementations using OAuth.
  •  Hands-on integration and deployment experience in multi-tier, mobile/web-based systems. 
Nice to have
  • Experience in any of the cloud technologies like AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
  •  Work with cross-functional teams sometimes located at different geo locations.
  •  Able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. • Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  •  Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various business units in pursuit of problem solutions.
  •  Bachelor's in engineering or equivalent
