Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Current work underway to create 1 enterprise composition tool to replace the 15+ composition tools utilized across UHG.
  • This product owner role is focused on the creation of digital friendly composition (HTML 5, etc.) to be utilized by the various portals and mobile applications that will fuel the paperless agenda.

Ideal Background:

  • Experienced PO with strong technical understanding of composition and html5.

Team and Team size:

  • TBD but likely a cross functional team with 2 developers and a BA.

Top Responsibilities:

  • prioritize backlog, represent the business while collaborating with a cross-functional development team, work with scrum team in writing and approving user stories and participate in UAT and defect remediation

Skills/attributes:

  • 6+ years of knowledge and experience working in digital product management
  • a. 4+ years working with software development teams
  • b. 4+ years of knowledge and experience working in Agile product management
  • c. 2+ years demonstrating portfolio of user-centric digital experiences with proven, positive impacts to engagement and KPIs
  • d. Knowledge and experience working with business owners (managing expectations, managing delivery dates)
  • e. Knowledge and experience working in a matrixed environment
  • f. Knowledge and experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, marketers, and engineering
  • g. Solid experience with and ability to absorb and make sense of large amounts of data, information and perspectives to direct decision making
  • h. Experience with and ability to turn complicated inputs into a clear, communicable vision that delivers user/member and clear business value
  • i. Experience utilizing solid influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills with results
  • j. Knowledge of current digital web and application standards

Nice to have:

  • a. 4+ years working in healthcare related fields
