  • Manage software engineering team; accountable for software delivery
  • Accountable for seeing that engineering team delivers on business capability commitments
  • Serve as a leader in agile software delivery and DevOps engineering culture practices; work with engineering leads and product team to ensure agile delivery and DevOps best practices are established and followed on the program (e.g. test automation, 2-week agile release cycle
  • Drive innovation, automation, and quality
  • Ensure IT operations best practices are established, including (but not limited to) site reliability engineering practices, proactive monitoring, incident management rotation, CI/CD, and release compliance automation
  • Understand and apply strategic priorities across both business and technology
  • Partner with business and capability/product team to make product decisions and prioritize roadmap
  • Collaborate across technology and business teams on key strategic integrations and deliverables
  • Develop leaders within the engineering team; establish an effective agile organizational structure

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience as a software engineering delivery lead
  • Agile experience
  • DevOps engineering experience
  • Experience working directly with business and technology leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with:
  • ServiceNow
  • Javascript
  • Angular JS
  • JQuery, node. Js, Bootstrap
  • Snowflake or other data warehousing solutions
  • Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
  • Kafka streaming technologies
  • Experience in a software engineering or technology director role

Team and Team size:

  • 7 on their own scrum team
  • 1 Scrum Master4 developers 2 sdets

Top Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the technical delivery of the team.
  • Provide technical guidance.
  • Production support process ownership.
  • Refinements. Partnership with business.
