Projects the candidate will be working on:

  • Develop and maintain a .NET/C# application with an Angular frontend.
  • The person in this role will be developing and maintaining a .Net core application that uses Angular as the UI.
  • It is a customer self-service portal that provides customers with compliance data for their infrastructure.
  • Version 1 of this project is complete.
  • There are items in the backlog that need to be completed.
  • This person will be the only one working on this project and will receive work direction directly from the hiring manager.

Ideal Background:

  • The ideal candidate should have a background in full-stack application development with an emphasis on .Net and Angular.

Top Requirements:

  • C# .Net - 2+ years
  • UI/UX Designer - 1+ years
  • HTML/CSS - 1+ years

Team and Team size:

  • There are currently 5 team members. 4 are developers with strong OS admin skills and 1 has strong Unix admin skills.

Skills/attributes Required

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of scripting experience with at least one of these languages(C#, Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby, VBScript, PowerShell)
  • 1+ years of experience with Linux and/or Windows operating systems as a system designer, system programmer, or system administrator Understanding of system security practices

Skills/attributes Preferred

  • Experience with Angular, React or other UI frameworks
  • Experience with Chef products (e.g., Chef Server, Compliance, Inspec, Automate, Test Kitchen)
  • Experience with source code version control tools (e.g., GitHub)
  • Experience executing DevOps & Agile methodologies
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools/practices (e.g., Jenkins, Chef Workflow, Puppet, Ansible, Chef)
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of test-driven development Solid ability to organize tasks and determine priorities

Working Time:

  • Day shift

Interview Process:

  • a. How many rounds? 1 or 2 rounds
  • b. Video vs. phone? All interviews will be video
  • c. How technical will the interviews be? The interviews will be technical enough to ascertain the skill level of the candidate.
